Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid may have finally heeded the advice of some of his supporters who suggested a name change since he is no longer the young ‘Wizkid’ that stormed the scene years ago.

Wizkid has got members of the internet community talking after pulling a move that many did not anticipate from him.

The much-loved music star made a slight change to his official stage name on his Instagram bio section as he added BIG WIZ which some of the fans have been clamouring for as it reflects that the singer is no longer the young kid of yesterday.

Several fans and followers of the singer who didn’t see the name change coming had different things to say about the development.
