The academic staff of polytechnic (Asup),Federal Polytechnic Ede chapter has threatened that is member will withdraw their services in the institution if the management fails to do the needful in the implementation of it demands.
Rising From its emergency congress held on Monday ,The lecturer made three key demands
The demands are: “The suspension of Barr A.B Oladimeji, a chief lecturer and a member of the academic board in the institution be unconditionally withdrawn.
“That the queries issued to some members of the chapter be withdrawn and apology letter be issued to the concerned members.
It also demanded that “The decision taken by the management in contravention to the polytechnic act (2019 as amended) be vacated
It however issued a 24hours ultimatum to the management,adding that failure to comply will have its members embark on strike action.
