Young Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor who is known as Rema launched his own genre, AFRORAVE not long ago
has garnered some reactions from Nigerians and many people are of the view that people who rubbished Rema’s style of music have buried their heads in shame.
Announcing the AFRORAVE genre, Rema wrote;
“My sound y’all called Indian, everybody doing it now.
From this day my sound will be called “Afrorave” a sub-genre of Afrobeat, my Album seals this claim for good.”

Comedians used it as a bait. Non Nigerians and Africans believed and supported him. That was what kept him going!
